My sincere condolences to the family & friends of Geneva Frost. I met Geneva at the Annual Meeting of the Thoreau Society in July, 1995. We talked a lot about our mutual interests in Thoreau & she was a willing guide on the various trips arranged for Society members. Each Christmas we kept in touch re our year and our mutual love of cats! She would always include photos of them in her hand-made cards. Each year one more of these had, alas, passed on! One year she arranged for my small daughter, Amelia, to have a pen-friend at a local school with which Geneva was involved. Although I only met Geneva that once, she struck me as a person of immense warmth. On reading "Geneva's Story", online, I was not at all surprised at the extent of her community involvement and obvious willingness to give. She was a person once met, always remembered!
