Condolence: Dear Karen,
Sandy and I extend our deepest sympathy to you and your family. Dick was a classic "great guy", and although we didn't spend a lot of time together, each moment in memory brings a smile to our faces and a warmth to our hearts. Those hearts now ache for you. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Condolence: Dear Karen,

My sincere condolences to you and the family on the passing of Dick. It came as a real shock to me yesterday -in spite of your Christmas message that he had been battling his illness with great courage.
I have such fond memories of our time together and especially your visit to England and my home in Bath in '97. I shall never forget Dick's grace and humor as we celebrated US Thanksgiving with a bunch of English friends. He explained what it was all about and it was one of those evenings that will stay with me forever. He was a wonderful man and he has touched so many in his life-a life lived well with love and happiness.

You are all in my heart at this sad time.

Condolence: Karen, Samantha & Mark, and the rest of the family... My heart goes out to you and your family. Dick was a great guy, that's to be sure, but what I'll always remember most about him was that smile, and kindliness behind it. I had the privilege of working with him for some time, and what always struck me was how genuine that kindness was. It was who he was after all. Whether he was asking me about my family or how work was going, he really was interested in the answer. He really and truly cared.
For me, that's how I'll always remember him. Kind, caring and genuine and the world is a little less with his passing...but from somewhere else better, he's still smiling. -Brett
