The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Mary Grindle can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

I am so sorry for your loss. I first knew your mother when you were kids, but recently through an exercise class and the hospital auxiliary. I know she will be remembered for her caring and service to the community. She was a definite individual and wasn't afraid to speak her mind! Please accept my sympathy.

Condolence From: Lenny Sweet
Condolence: I worked with Mary at the hospital for many years. She was a pleasure to work alongside. The memories you have of her will keep her close to your hearts.
One of my sons worked with Mary at a restaurant in Bar Harbor so long ago and I remember him telling me she was a fair waitress when it came to sharing tips.
