Obituary for John Richard Hunneman Jr.

SEDGWICK
John Richard Hunneman, Jr., 87, of Sedgwick passed away Friday, December 21, 2012 at the Blue Hill Memorial Hospital. Richard was born in Woburn, Massachusetts, the son of John Richard Hunneman and Agnes Akeson.
Richard graduated from Brown and Nichols High School, Harvard University, and Harvard Business School. He was employed for many years at the General Electric Company and traveled extensively representing GE turbines and locomotives. While at Harvard, Richard was student leader of the V12 program and also Captain of the Harvard rowing team. Richard was an enthusiastic sailor and participated in many races to Bermuda and Nova Scotia. He was a member of the Massachusetts Charitable Society.
He is survived by his sister, Ann Cutting and brother-in-law Elliott Cutting; one nephew, Roger Cutting; a niece, Ann E. Soulanille; two grand nieces, Madeleine Cutting and Jane Cutting; and two grand nephews, Matthew Soulanille and Paul Soulanille.
Richard is remembered as "always generous and kind, cheerful and understanding, a man of integrity". Remembrances of life will be announced at a later time.
