The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Edward McFarland can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Frank Geremia

I have known Teddy for many, many years. He has been a good friend. My wife, Connie McFarland Geremia grew up with Teddy and they were not only cousins but were very close friends. We don't live in Maine, however on our visits to Maine we always made sure we stopped in to see Teddy. Connie died a couple of years ago, she would have been devastated to hear of his death. I really liked that guy and am going to miss him on my visits to Mt. Desert. My condolences to the family. Frank Geremia, Master Chief Petty Officer, U.S. NAVY, Ret.
