Condolence: Its still hard to believe Charlie's not with us anymore, we were so looking forward to this summer to spend more time with Charlie and Sue. We do have the great memories of our visit this winter in Florida, was such a great day, although we knew he wasn't at his best, he didn't let it show. We surely will miss him, and will always have a place in our hearts.
Love Always

Condolence: Dear Sue - we remember Charlie fondly as a good friend and neighbor. How we laughed and kidded around at our get-togethers! Charlie had a great sense of humor! He was always ready to lend a hand, pitch in, whatever a neighbor needed. Rest in peace, Charlie! You will be greatly missed. Until we meet again!
Sue - You are in our hearts and prayers! We wish we could be there to hug you and comfort you at this sad time.

Condolence: Please accept my deepest sympathy.
I must say I was totally shocked to open last weeks Islander and see Charlie's pleasant face in the obituary section. I'm so pleased that I had the pleasure to play a round of golf last summer with Charlie and his close friend Tommy Fernald at the Causeway Club. I have good memories of Charlie and Bunny Parady's "Chinese Bandits" way back during the old Pemetic vs Mustangs rivalry. Only wish I could have know you better Charlie. Rest in Peace.

Condolence: So sorry for the loss of this great guy. Charlie and I worked together at the Towne House Bar in Northeast Harbor in the 60's. It was so plain to see that everyone who came in knew and loved Charlie. I did not know him long but I never forgot him and his big smile. Hope to see you again, Charlie.

Condolence: Sue & family, even though I met Charlie briefly on a couple of different occasions I knew he was a good man. I cannot tell you how very sorry I am for his loss. I know how hard a battle he fought. I do not know why God chose him to go now, but we must trust in His decisions and live our lives the best we can until you can meet him again. God bless you all in your time of loss, and remember the good times. And treasure them always.
