Laying here in bed tonight, getting ready to sleep. Aunt Alice popped into my mind. Mother and I made a trip to Maine July 2012. We stopped by Sonogee in the off chance Aunt Alice was there. She was. It had been many years since I had seen her. A dozen and half at least. I don't know if she knew who Mother and I were. While we were there she just seemed so peaceful. We spoke to her, ran our fingers through her hair. We told her how much we missed and loved her. She held Mom's hand so tight as to tell us she knew who we were. Aunt Alice was one of my greatest memories of our trips to Maine. I often wished I had gotten to spend more time with my Father's side of the family. The Whitneys. How I love each and every one who have passed and who are living.... more so do I long for those who have gone and joined our Dear Lord. May they rest in peace. I love you Aunt Alice. Please give my Daddy a BIG hug for me !!!!
