Condolence: Dear Family of Matt, I would like to offer my condolences on the passing of your father. I got to know him and your mother Judy when they lived in Ireland quite a few years ago. We corresponded for many years after they returned to Maine. When Judy passed he shared his loss in the letters that followed.He was a good and very modest man. We knew so little of his amazing achievements until we read about them on the newspaper. We will remember you all in our prayers.

I am a great niece of Judy's, and got to know Matt through his devotion to Judy when she spent years in the Island Nursing Home. My mother, Nancy Trowbridge Holmes (Judy's first cousin) and I always appreciated his dedication to her. I send you my condolences.
