The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of James Scroggy can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

You and your family have my deepest sympathy on your loss. Trust me I know how you feel! Jim was wonderful and helped me through a difficult time after the tornado struck Ed's and my home and I have never forgotten that. Stay strong and know how much you both touched other's lives in such a wonderful way.

Condolence: Jim will always be a hero to me. He helped me through the darkest days of my life with his patience, understanding, unconditional compassion and wisdom. Lake George in the 1960s just wasn't ready for someone so brilliant and courageous.
