Obituary for William G. Vogt

Ellsworth
William G. Vogt, 95, died June 6, 2012 at a Bangor hospital. He was born Sept. 30, 1916 in Guttenberg, N.J. the son of Frederick and Elizabeth (Eisley) Vogt.
William was a U.S. Army veteran having served in World War II in the European Theatre from 1942-1945. He later worked as a building contractor and was a retired member of the Teamsters and Carpenters Union.
He is survived by 2 daughters: Barbara MacTaggart and fiancée’ Roger Sparkman, of Ellsworth and Wendy Folkers and husband, Richard of Sparta, NJ; a sister, Anna Neilson, of NJ; 4 grandchildren, Tammy and wife Peggy, Jessica and husband, Mark, Kerri, Steven and fiancée Olivia; great-grandchildren, Sara, Matthew and Gracie. He was predeceased by his beloved wife of 43 years Florence (Church) Vogt.
Funeral Services will be held 1pm, Monday, June 11, 2012 at Jordan-Fernald, 113 Franklin Street, Ellsworth. Interment will be at the George Washington Memorial Park Cemetery, All Faiths’ on the Hill Mausoleum, Paramus, New Jersey.
