The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Virginia Thompson can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

The lighting of a Memorial Candle not only provides a gesture of sympathy and support to the immediate family during their time of need but also provides the gift of extending the Book of Memories for future generations.

Nancy Yates

I am so very sorry to hear of the passing of such a wonderful and inspirational lady. I was a young Navy wife, stationed in Charleston, SC with a small baby when I first visited the shop in Pawleys Island. Ginnie took the time to teach me to cross stitch. Thanks to her, I have been stitching ever since. I have also passed on my love (and hers) to my daughter, daughter-in-law and granddaughters. I am a member of several stitching guilds and needless to say I will never be able to thank Ginnie for sharing her gift. May you find peace at this time of year knowing she is with her Lord and will forever be safe, healthy, and cared for. A grateful stitcher, Nancy Yates, Mechanicsville, VA
