Obituary for Tim Furth

Tim Furth passed away on Tuesday, February 17, 2015 at the age of 60 at his home in Surry.
A graduate of Westfield High School in Westfield, New Jersey, as well as the University of Maine at Orono, Tim was a mechanical engineer who worked on major construction and petrochemical projects throughout Europe and the Middle East. Tim's first love, however, was the Maine outdoor life. He spent as much time as he could boating, water-skiing, and ice fishing on his beloved Toddy Pond.
He is survived by his three sisters, Sarah Green and her husband Robert of Scottsville, New York, Susan Solomon and her husband Russell of Santa Maria, California, and Sandra Cederroth and her husband Charles of Westfield, New Jersey; as well as his 6 nieces and nephews, Joanne, Jason and Steven Jackowiec, Sam Green, and Julia and Jane Cederroth. Tim is predeceased by his parents, James and Winifred Furth of Surry.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 18, 2015 at 11:00 am at Jordan-Fernald, 113 Franklin St. Ellsworth.
