Obituary for Sandra Arleen MacGregor

HANCOCK
Sandra Arleen “Sam, Sandy” MacGregor, 46, died unexpectedly June 3, 2011 at her home. She was born in Bangor, November 27, 1964 the daughter of Gardner M. and Jessie A. (White) MacGregor.
Sandy was a lover of many things. She loved the summer, the ocean and being able to work on her landscaping, she took great pride in this. She was also very proud to have been a CNA and loved working with the disabled. She was a great person and would try to help anyone she could. She will be missed by all.
She is survived by her mother, Jessie MacGregor of Hancock; two sons, Shawn F. MacGregor and wife Tiffany of Cornville and Scott “Tyler” Doane of Hancock; her sister, Bonnie MacGregor of Ellsworth and her children, Joshua Wallace, Nina Wallace, Dezarae Kelley, Roxanna MacGregor, her sister, Heidi MacGregor of Bar Harbor and her children, Alex Whitmore and Daniel MacGregor. She was predeceased by her father.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00pm, Sunday, June 12, 2011 at the Sullivan Baptist Church with Pastor Randy Chamberlain officiating. All are invited to a lunch following the service at the church.
Sandy always wanted Tyler to go to college and donations may be sent to Jessie MacGregor, 205 Old Route 1, Hancock, ME 04640 to help further education for Tyler. Flowers may also be sent to Jessie’s address.
