Obituary for Ralph E. Allen Sr.

Ralph E. Allen Sr. 84 of Ellsworth, went home to be with his Lord on May 27, 2012. He was born on September 22, 1927, a son of Frances S. and Ruth (Bisco) Allen.
Ralph served in the U.S. Army during WWII in occupied Germany. Ralph will be remembered as a loving and devoted husband and father, for his Love of the Lord, his many cars, his Harley Davidsons’, his shooting skills and fishing. He will be sadly missed by his family and friends
He is survived by his daughters’ Lois E. Rollins of Chesapeake, VA. and Rachel J. Holmes and husband Tom of Ellsworth, sons’ Ralph E. Allen of Old Orchard Beach, Me. and Timothy Allen and wife Lisa of Otis ME, Granddaughters, Christy (Rollins) Renn, Michelle (Rollins) Woods and husband Corey of Chesapeake VA, and Abbie Allen of Otis ME, Grandsons Anthony Carnrike and wife Laura Of Chesapeake VA, Jacob Oblin of Boston Ma, Chad Woods, and Brad Allen of Otis ME, Great Granddaughters’ Adrianna Smith, Anayah Edge, Great Grandsons’ John Renn, Corey Woods, and Gavin Edge, of Chesapeake VA, and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife of 53 years, Ruth E. (Danico) Allen, and a grandson Ralph E. Allen III.
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, May 31, 2012 at 6:00 P.M. at Jordan-Fernald Funeral Home; 113 Franklin St, Ellsworth, with Pastor Steve Hersey officiating
