Obituary for Rachel Lee Wentworth

Rachel Lee Wentworth, 36, died March 9, 2012 in Southwest Harbor. She was born September 29, 1975 in Ellsworth, the daughter of Robert Lee and Ann Marie (Mackey) Wentworth.
She graduated from Mount Desert Island High School in 1994. Rachel worked for the Southwest Harbor Food Mart for 5 years. More recently she worked at Birch Bay Village, as a PSS Assistant.
She was a member of St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Manset.
Rachel was a big fan of Nascar Racing and enjoyed going to the Loudon, NH races.
She is survived by her mother, Ann M. (Mackey) Wentworth of Southwest Harbor; three children: Zackary Wentworth and Robert and Samantha Wark, all of Southwest Harbor; one brother, Bill Wentworth and wife, Alison of Harker Heights, TX.; one sister, Angela Torell and husband, Timothy of Grosse Pointe, MI.; nieces; Britany and Amber Wentworth, Teagan Wentworth and Riley Torell; one nephew, Hunter Wentworth and an uncle, Paul Mackey of Las Vegas.
Rachel was predeceased by her father, Robert L. Wentworth.
Friends are invited to call 5:30-7:00PM, Thursday, March 15, 2012 at Jordan-Fernald, 1139 Main St., Mt. Desert. A Mass of Christian burial will be held, 10:00AM, Friday, at St. Peter’s Catholic Church, Manset. Burial will be at Hillrest Cemetery, Tremont.
