Obituary for Patsy Murphy Dinsmore-Walsh

Ellsworth
Patsy Murphy Dinsmore-Walsh of Gainesville, Florida and Ellsworth passed away on January 3, 2014 in Tampa, Florida after another courageous battle with cancer. Patsy was born in Bangor, May 24, 1950, the daughter of the late Claude Stanley and Mariene Crowley (Murphy) Sprague.
Pat graduated from Northeast Harbor High School in 1968. She went on to become a Licensed Practical Nurse from Santa Fe Junior College in Gainesville, Florida in 1969. She worked as an LPN her entire career. She worked for Collier's Nursing Home for over 20 years. Pat then went to work for the U.S. Navy as a civilian nurse at the Winter Harbor Navy Base until they closed. She transferred to Portsmouth, New Hampshire to continue working as a civilian nurse for the U.S. Navy. In 2005 Pat moved to Gainesville, FL and worked at the Department of Veterans' Affairs at the VA Hospital as an LPN and to also help her aging mother.
Patsy is survived by her husband, Peter Walsh of Gainesville, FL and Millinocket; her mother, Mariene Crowley Murphy Sprague of Gainesville, Florida; her two loving daughters, Rhonda Dinsmore Jordan and her husband Patrick C. of Ellsworth, and Diane Dinsmore Moaratty and her husband Donald K. Jr. of Millington, Tennessee. Pat better known as Me-Me, leaves six beloved grandchildren, Bridget Mariene, Ronald Asa, & Patrick Orion all of Ellsworth and Mya Dawn, Elena Grace, & Nathanial James all of Millington, Tennessee. Me-Me will forever be in their hearts. Patsy was predeceased by her father, Claude Stanley Murphy.
A memorial service will be held 5:00 pm, Monday, June 16, 2014 at Jordan-Fernald, 113 Franklin St. Ellsworth.
