I was so sorry to hear about Putt's passing. He will truly be missed by many. I will always remember my Friday night visits at Dad's with Putt. He and Dad would tell the greatest stories that kept me laughing all the time. I really appreciated everything Putt did for Dad - a BEST FRIEND in all sense of the word. Our families have shared many wonderful memories over the years and I have peace and comfort knowing Dad and Putt are together again. Condolence: Jerry.. What an amazing, wonderful, loving, funny gentleman. To each of your family members, I appreciate the positive memories growing up in your house. However, most of all, I will miss Putt giving me a hard time about anything and everything. Yes, I will actually miss this, especially now when I head back to the area for a visit. Everytime I walk into my parents house I think of Putt and Bruce doing the reconstruction of our kitchen and bathroom for our family. Walls family, thank-you for being a huge part of the community. Your loss is our loss, too. Putt was an excellent friend to Dad, and I will never forget his kindness.
I will often think of our conversations while visiting Dad but especially his visits to Eden School when Emily and Raife were there. So many kids thought of him as their grandfather "Doodah" too.
