Liberty and Hobe Sound, Florida
Mabel “Bella” Knowlton, 78, died October 3, 2014 at a Bangor Hospital. She was born March 3, 1936 in Bangor, the daughter of Ernest D. and Dorothy I. (Wentworth) Carter.
Bella loved to travel and enjoyed the Drama Club in Florida. She was a 4-H Leader and was very interested in horses and the showing of them. Bella was a bus driver and truly enjoyed it.
Bella is survived by her husband, C. Justin Knowlton, of Liberty. and Hobe Sound FL.; daughter, Molly Jo Ann Tash and husband Carl “Skip”, of Pittsfield; 2 stepsons and their wives, Wade Knowlton and wife Kerry of Port St. Lucia, FL. and Chuck Knowlton and wife Debbie , of Stewart FL.; granddaughter, Savanna Ann Tash; great grandson, Kooper Vaughan Tash Knowles; 4 step-grandchildren; 2 step great- grandchildren. Bella was predeceased by her 1st husband Joseph Lawler.
Graveside Service will be held 11am Thurs., Oct. 9, 2014 at Woodbine Cemetery, Ellsworth, Maine
