Obituary for Lynne F. Richardson

Bar Harbor
Lynne Francis Richardson, 61, died July 24, 2015 in Wells, Maine. She was born, June 26, 1954 in St. Albans, NY, the daughter of Ralph and Barbara J. (Hadley) Richardson Jr.
She attended MDI High School where she graduated in 1973 and then continued on to Auburn Maine School of Commerce College. She also took a CNA Course at Sonogee Estates. Lynne had worked at Rainwise for 4 years, Bar Harbor Chamber of Commerce for 10 years and the Jackson Laboratory in customer service for 15 years, where she was known as the “rainbow maker”. She was a member of the Jax Holiday for Kids and Community Project Committee, Big Brother, Big Sister Bowlathon and walkathon for cancer.
Lynne was a very kind, caring and compassionate person, who will be missed by many. She loved to cook, travel and garden. She was known for her smile, laughter and her generosity to others. She loved attending community events. Most of all, she loved spending time with family and friends, especially her grandson, Wyatt Fountaine.
She is survived by her mother, Barbara J. Richardson; her daughter, Stephanie Fontaine and her husband, David; her grandson, Wyatt Fountaine; a brother, Steven Richardson and wife, Anne Gibbs; nephew, Sam Richardson; several cousins; her significant other, John Drollett and many dear friends. Lynne was predeceased by her father, Ralph M. Richardson, Jr.; grandparents, Ralph M. and Francis Richardson and Frederick and Dorothy Hadley.
Memorial services will be held 1pm, Sat. August 1, 2015 at Jordan-Fernald, 1139 Main St., Mt. Desert. Interment will be Mountain View Cemetery, Town Hill.
