Condolence: My two sons attended The Plumfield School in Darien, CT. I will be eternally grateful for the " hands on" education they received there under the tutelage of Miss Jean Hilton, head of school. What years was Mrs. Kelley a teacher at Plumfield…did you know the name Plumfield School came from Louisa May Alcott's book, "Little Women", where Jo was a teacher. Now I live in Tremont, ME, my sons are in California where they are responsible for educating their children. Plumfield was an exceptional school for the very bright, needing to be challenged child, and the child who needed very focused direction in the learning process. My late husband and I considered our children's years at Plumfield some of the most important "stepping stones" in their lives. All the best to the off-spring of Mr. and Mrs. Kelly- I never knew your parents, but I so admired the teaching that went on at the Plumfield School where Mrs.Kelley taught.

Condolence: Dear Margaret, Carolyn, and Harvey, I am so sorry for your loss of your Mom. So hard to deal with our parents leaving us. She was such a great lady. I remember when your Mom and Dad took us to Boston. I was amazed wtih Boston and a great memory is staying overnight on your Windjammer in the harbor. So just remember all the wonderful things they did for so many of us. Love, Jeanne Clark

Condolence: Dear Margaret, Carolyn, and Harvey, I am so sorry for your loss of your Mom. She taught so many of us many things in life. I remember when your parents took us to Boston and I was thrilled as never would have made this trip without them inviting me. Also the thrill of sleeping over on your floating home. Never forget these special times. Very special parents that you had. Love, Jeanne Clark
