The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Loretta Rancourt can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence: We at the office were so sad to hear of Loretta's passing. We knew she had been ill for a while, but it was sad to hear she wasn't doing better. She will be missed. Heaven is a better place because of her. Our sincere sympathies from all of us at Northeast Periodontal Associates.

Condolence: We were sorry to hear of Loretta's passing. She was married to Wayne's uncle, Ken Rancourt. We would meet them and other family members at Angler's Restaurant for some enjoyable meals. She took wonderful care of Ken during his illness. Our deepest sympathy to the family and loved ones.

Condolence From: Georgiana Jankura
Condolence: I am so sorry to hear of Loretta's passing. My sincere condolences to her family and friends. I have some fond memories of Loretta: Babysitting for baby Sherman when Loretta lived in her Bridgeport apartment; having a fun visit at her Rhode Island house; and most of all, driving up to North Penobscot in our old VW camper when Dustin was just a baby (in 1980?). Loretta was "living off the land" and in the process of building her new home. The inside walls weren't up yet, but the kitchen must have been functioning enough to have the best roast pork dinner ever! Uncle Dave was laid up with a broken leg(?)from an accident he had while building the chimney. I was so impressed how Loretta made us feel so welcome even though things must have been a little hectic at the time. I wish I had been able to spend more time with Loretta. She was a kind and adventurous woman and a combination of the best qualities of the Phoenixes and the Jankuras all rolled into one! She will be sadly missed.

Condolence: Deepest Sympathy to Loretta's family. I will always remember her as a dear cousin and my artistic mentor, helping me create paperdolls with stylish fashion when we were young children.
