Obituary for Lois Marie DeRaps

Ellsworth
Lois Marie DeRaps, 71, died August 25, 2013 at a Bangor hospital. She was born May 9, 1942 in Brewer the daughter of Pearl G. Walton.

Lois was active in the Civil Air Patrol and a member of the Downeast Patrol Corp. Squadron. She worked for 33 years as a CNA at Courtland Rehab & Living Center. Lois was also a member of the Hospice Volunteers of Hancock County and the Board of Directors of the Ellsworth High School Alumni Association.
Lois is survived by her son Douglas R. Monson, of Lewiston; a brother Douglas W. Monson, Sr. and wife, Cheryle, of Trenton; a sister, Jean Lyons, of Ellsworth; a granddaughter, Chelsea Monson, of Oxford. She was predeceased by her mother and a sister, Ann DeRaps.
Graveside Services will be held 1pm, Friday, August 30, 2013 at Leland Cemetery, Trenton.
