Obituary for Lawrence Earl Gray

Blue Hill
Lawrence Earl Gray, 88, died April 24, 2015 at his home. He was born in Brooklin, September 13, 1926, son of Linwood and Annie (Choate) Gray.
Lonnie was a Navy veteran of WWII, and served in the Pacific Theatre. He married Nellie Robertson April 3, 1948 and together they raised five children. He was a carpenter most of his life and had his own contracting business for over 30 years. He loved hunting and working in his garden in the summer. He enjoyed retirement, spending time with Nellie and doing things at his leisure.
He is survived by his wife, Nellie; children, Linda Blake and husband Foster, David Gray and wife Jackie, Diane Grindle and husband Calvin, Micheal Gray and wife Patty, and Danny Gray and wife Clara; several grandchildren; great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; nieces and nephews. Lonnie was predeceased by brothers, Alton, and Norman; and sister, Stella.
A graveside service will be held 10:00 AM, Thursday April 30, 2015 at Mountain View Cemetery, Blue Hill
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Lonnie’s memory may be made to the Peninsula Ambulance Corps, P O Box 834, Blue Hill 04614
