Southwest Harbor
A. LaVaughn Bell, 95, died September 15, 2013 at Sonogee Rehab & Living Center, Bar Harbor. She was born March 14, 1918 in Lincolnville the daughter of Harry A. and Ethel B. (Hutchinson) Frohock.
Vonnie was a member of St. John Episcopal Church, Southwest Harbor.
She is survived by a daughter, Rebecca Crowther of Hollis, NH; 2 grandsons, Col. G. Alex Crowther of Carlisle, PA and Herbert E. Gilliland, III of Pittsburgh, PA; two nephews, Stephen Frohock and his wife Liz of N. Searsport and Bruce Frohock of Houlton; a niece, Nancy F. Chartier and husband Bill of Brooklyn, CT.; many special nieces, nephews, cousins and many special friends. She was predeceased by a son Ralph I. Bullock II in 1961; a daughter, Patricia B. Gilliland in 1985; and brother, Douglas H. Frohock in 1998.
A memorial service will be held 10 am, Saturday, October 19, 2013 at St. John Episcopal Church, Main Street, Southwest Harbor. Interment will be at Maplewood Cemetery, Duck Trap Center, Lincolnville.
