Elizabeth and I were saddened to hear of Joyce's passing and also extend belated condolences on Bill Sr's death. We arrived in Bar Harbor 40 years ago and were immediately welcomed by Bill and Joyce with warmth and friendship. The silver lining is that your Mom is now free of pain and with your Dad. We were so lucky when your Mom and Dad came to help us at Geddy's. We were so blessed to have known them. They were our friends and were an inspiration to us all...they are truly the most incredible two people we have ever met. So down to earth and genuine. They always made everyone feel so good just being around them. The saying..."I have never met a stranger" certainly applies... Joyce and Bill made life long friends wherever they went and I'm sure they are in heaven spreading their light and love so freely, as they did here on earth...seeing old friends and meeting new ones.
