Joseph “Joey” Loren White, 23, died May 27, 2012 in Trenton. He was born May 9, 1989 in Blue Hill the son of Karen E. Robidoux and Richard L. White.
Joey graduated from Mt. Desert Island High School in 2007. He loved the ocean and especially enjoyed lobster fishing with his father. When he wasn’t working he loved spending time with friends and caring for his tropical fish.
He is survived by his mother of Ellsworth and his father of Trenton; two brothers, Jon White and wife Tara of Ellsworth and Rick White of Georgia; two sisters, Brenda Shelton and husband, Steve of Ellsworth and Morgan Ilika and husband Josh of Texas; paternal grandmother, Hazel Fox and husband Arthur of Trenton; maternal grandmother, Betty Robidoux of Ellsworth and maternal grandfather Albert Robidoux of Waltham; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his paternal grandfather, Loren “Sonny”White.
Visiting hours will be held 5:30–7:00 PM, Friday, June 1, 2012 at Jordan-Fernald, 113 Franklin St. Ellsworth where a funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, June 2nd. Interment will be at Woodbine Cemetery, Ellsworth.
