The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Jean Plenty can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence: Because we were traveling at the time, we've learned this sad news very belatedly. But we still want to express our condolences to Jean's family (if anyone is still checking this site!) and our appreciation of this wonderful person. Both Jean & George are sorely missed at the Pres. church in Westfield (where a room is named for them, a rare honor) and in this whole area of NJ where they contributed so much. Jean was very giving, very warm--always in a low key, no-nonsense way that made being with her even better. It was a blessing to know her.

Condolence: I am very sorry for your loss. May the many wonderful memories of a long life, well lived, bring smiles to your hearts and ease your sorrow. "For there exists hope for even a tree. If it is cut down, it will sprout again. And its twigs will continue to grow." (Job 14:7) My prayers are with you that your confidence in God's power to restore life will grow, and help to comfort you, just like it did Job.

Condolence From: Bob and Mary Jordan
Condolence: Mary and I did a sailing cruise to Maine last summer from Boston and when my mom said Mrs Plenty was living in Bar Harbor we just had to pay her a visit!! We were next door neighbors for many years in Westfield with so many great memories and stories that we were able to reminisce and laugh about for a couple of hours, it was a very pleasurable visit. So happy we were able to get together but so sorry to hear of Mrs Plenty's passing. She was a classy woman all the way who loved family, friends and life. Loved her sense of humor and wit. I'm sure she is very happy to be with Mr Plenty again. He's probably got that pipe going!!
