Billie reluctantly agreed. They were together until his death 47 years later. Billie was an active member of St. Saviour’s Parish in Bar Harbor for 65 years, past vestry member, chair of the Memorial Committee and member of several search committees. She was a lifetime member of Kebo Valley Club and served as secretary and long time board member. Billie was also a member of the MDI Hospital Auxiliary, Acadia Women’s Investment Club and fun loving member of the Seabury Club and most recently the WOBBITS.
