Obituary for Henry J. Garber
Henry J. Garber, 85, died March 27, 2013 at Maine Coast Memorial Hospital. He was born July 31, 1927 in Wallingford, CT a son of Michael and Catherine (Zahoceowska) Garber.
Henry was an U.S. Army veteran, an inventor and executive recruiter. He met the love of his life, Joan F. Hayes and they were married in 1979. In 1988 they moved to Maine. Later in life, he and Joan authored the book, “Mr. Pine”, which is in the Library of Congress.
He was preceded in death by his wife Joan in 2012.
Spring interment will be held at a later date in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Ellsworth.
