Obituary for Hazel Elizabeth Wellman

Lamoine - Hazel Elizabeth (Bennett) Wellman, 89, went to be with the Lord on Oct. 8, 2011 at her daughter’s home in Bellingham, MA. She was born March 10, 1922 in Somerville, MA the daughter of Harry Gordon and Ivy Mae Bennett.
She is survived by five sons, Irving R. Wellman, Jr. and wife, Judi of Duxbury, MA, Steven M. Wellman of Florida, Gordon L. Wellman and wife, Susan of Litchfield, NH, Jeffrey S. Wellman and wife, Roxanne of Marlborough, MA and Mark C. Wellman and wife, Sandra of Freemont, NH; two daughters, Judith M. Mittan and husband, Frank of Bellingham, MA and Cheryl A. Mitchel and husband, Paul of Corona, CA; 19 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren. Hazel is predeceased by her loving husband, Irving R. Wellman; brothers; James, David, Walter, Harry, and Robert Bennett; and sisters, Edna Vidito, and Ruth Daily.
Friends are invited to call 10:00 – 11:00 a.m., Saturday, October 15, 2011 at the Family Bible Church, 460 High St., Ellsworth, where funeral services will follow at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Richard Rockwell presiding. Interment will be at East Lamoine Cemetery, Lamoine.
