Obituary for Harry Lawrence Torrey

Harry Lawrence Torrey, 64, died December 20, 2009 at the Maine Veterans Hospital in Augusta. He was born in Tremont, May 29, 1945 the son of Cecil F. and Rebecca M. (Davis) Torrey.
Harry served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He enjoyed the outdoors hunting, fishing and gardening. His greatest joy was spending time with his family.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 20 years, Phoebe (Hooper) Torrey of Sedgwick; daughters, Michelle Torrey of Stonington, Kelli Smith of Biddeford and Sherry Allen of Sedgwick; brother, Samuel Torrey of Sedgwick; sister, Joyce Gilley of Sedgwick; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Private interment will be held at the convenience of the family.
