Condolence From: Stan Harmon
Condolence: I only met Gordon once, 2 years ago, and I indicated to him that I recognize and love his 2 Elm trees out front. He told me that if his house was on fire, his orders to the fire volunteers would be to save the trees first! We had a nice laugh and certainly shared a profound respect of the nature he was in the middle of here in Mariaville. I've worked with his daughter-in-law Darlene in the past in Bar Harbor and have met and talked with his son Craig, and talked with Teresa once on the phone when I moved up to Mariaville....condolences to the family.

Condolence: My condolences to the Fellis family. I first met Gordon around 1989 or so and he reminded me so much of my Dad - tough on the outside but kind and sensible on the inside. We had our differences, for sure, but we always came to a good and respectful conclusion to any situation.

Uncle Gordon and Aunt Di were always so nice to us whenever we would come to visit. May your cherished memories of love and life shared help to comfort you through this tender time. Condolence From: Cathy Herrick Griffin
Condolence: Sorry to hear about Cathy. Our paths were several through the years. As a teenager I babysat her kids a few times and years later worked with her at the nursing homes. She had a fabulous laugh and sense of humor. My thoughts are with you, Debby, David, Keith, Karen, and Joanne.

Condolence: David called me late last evening (which is not unusual) and gave me the sad news. I always thought Uncle Gordon was the nicest uncle you could ask for. Full of common sense, love for his family and strong morales. I pray for comfort for my cousins at your loss. I am thankful that Uncle Gordon was strong until his departing. He will forever be a part of my fondest memories. The obituary described your dad very well, learned some things I didn't know and give thanks to those that helped in the process. God bless you all. Cousin Dennis

Condolence: Dear Libby, Gene, Scott and Tim and the entire Fellis family:
I am so sorry to learn of the passing of your Dad/Grandfather. Although I never had the pleasure of meeting him, I have heard many stories of his love and generosity through my friendship with his daughter Libby. I also understand that community members that knew him had great admiration for him. I am so sorry for your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. Please accept my heartfelt condolences.
