George Warren Parker passed away April 21, 2013 in Newcastle, ME
George graduated from Wesleyan University, Middletown, CT, class of 1938. He served in the US Navy as lieutenant during WWII. Until his retirement, George was the owner of the George Parker Insurance Agency in New Bedford, MA.
He is survived by his wife of 73 years, Marjorie Heckel Parker; two daughters, Joyce P. Dexter and Judith P. VanderSalm; four grandchildren, Scott Stevenson , Sarah Matel, Jessica VanderSalm, and Jamie VanderSalm; two great-grandchildren, Seward Matel and Teddy Matel.
