Obituary for Gary Dwayne Jordan

Ellsworth -- Gary Dwayne Jordan, 58, died October 31, 2016 at a Bangor hospital. He was born in Ellsworth, November 28, 1957, son of Carroll Neil and Alice Marie (Maddocks) Jordan.

He worked at the Ellsworth Seed and Feed Store along side his father all his life. Gary was a huge sports fan, especially the Red Sox and Patriots and enjoyed local history of the family. He enjoyed joking with his customers and had a wonderful relationship with them. He was very compassionate and was crazy about animals.

He is survived by his mother; brothers, Stephen W. Jordan and wife Sheryl, Harvard G. Jordan and wife Lynelle, Ralph R. Jordan and husband Robert Bowden, John P. Jordan and partner Christine Cobb, and Carroll N. Jordan, Jr and wife Amy all of Ellsworth; sister, Linda D. Jordan; nieces and nephews, Shari, Gary, Katherine, Rebecca, Erin, Sarah, Christopher, Jacob and Chantelle; special friend, Steve Hinkel; and his beloved cat, Daisy. He was predeceased by his father; and good friend, Jeff Camber.

Private services will be held by the family.

Contributions in Gary’s memory may be made to any animal charity of one’s choice.
