Obituary for Frederick Eugene Graham

Ellsworth
Frederick (Fred) Eugene Graham, 80, passed away November 24, 2014 surrounded by his wife and family. He was born August 10, 1934 in Bangor the son of John and Beatrice (Moreau) Graham.
He grew up in Bucksport and graduated from Bucksport High School. He served 4 years in the US Navy during the Korean conflict. He returned home and moved to Ellsworth and started his career at Jasper’s Restaurant which lasted over 40 years. He developed a lifelong close relationship with many including George Henry and Polly Young. He met the love of his life and best friend, Patricia A. Jones while working together at Jasper’s. They married in February, 1959 and started their family. Fred was an avid Cleveland Browns/Indians fan for over 60 years. He was a member of the American Legion Post #0063.
Freddy is survived by his wife Patricia; children, Kim Pinkham and husband David, Ralph Graham and wife Becky, Jeannie Wentworth and husband Alonzo, Nancy Torrey and husband Brent, and Rick Graham and wife Nancy; grandchildren, Kara Piper and husband Mark, Joshua Magoon and fiancé Christina, Richard Magoon, Crystal and Theresa Graham, Kimmi Webster, Brenna, Paige and Zachary Torrey, Gage Graham, Patrick and Thomas Bell, and LaRae Iverson; great-grandchildren, Colin, Dylan, Ethan, Mallorie, Ryder, MyKaylah, Kylah, Colby, and Isabella; a very special dog Miya. He was predeceased by his parents; maternal grandparents, Maude and Frederick Moreau; Uncle Eugene Moreau; and a very special dog, Brooke.
A service of remembrance will be held at the Ellsworth Elks, 5:00-7:00, December 3, 2014. Interment will be at a much later date.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Freddy’s memory may be made to MCMH Outpatient Pulmonary Rehab, 50 Union Street, Ellsworth 04605 or SPCA of Hancock County, 141 Bar Harbor Road, Trenton 04605.
The family wishes to thank Maine Coast Memorial Hospital, ER, ICU, Dr. Laurie Yntema, Dr. Brock, ICU staff, Cardio-Pulmonary Dept. for their help, kindness, and support thru this difficult time.
He will be truly missed by his loving family forever.
