Obituary for Eva Frost Barnes

Eva Frost Barnes, 81, died June 17, 2009 at an Ellsworth hospital. She was born in Mariaville, May 26, 1928 the daughter of Albert Thomas and Ella (Dunham) Frost.
Eva loved to knit, crochet and go fishing with her grandchildren. She is survived by her husband, James D. Barnes of Ellsworth; sons, James A. Barnes of Mariaville, Daniel M. Barnes and wife Cheryl of Ellsworth; sisters, Marjorie Jordan of Waltham, Harriet Sprague of Otis; grandchildren, Jeremy and Nathan; great-grandson, Hunter; many nieces and nephews; She was predeceased by brothers, Frank Frost, Owen Frost and Harold Frost; sisters, Phyllis Spencer, Elizabeth Boss and Doris Edgecomb.
A celebration of her life will be held at a later date. Contributions in Eva’s memory may be made to Mariaville Volunteer Fire Department, c/o Scott Baron, 2171 Mariaville Road, Mariaville, ME 04605
