Obituary for Edna Jellison

MANSET-- Edna M. Jellison, 100, died peacefully on December 25, 2012. She was born at Seawall, September 25, 1912, to George B. and Ann (Muise) Dolliver.
Edna graduated from Pemetic High School in 1930. She was a member of Manset Union Church where she served as the Treasurer and taught Sunday School many years ago. Edna retired from Jackson Lab and also worked in several summer cottages in the area.
She is survived by one son, George M. Jellison, Sr.; good friend, Ruth K. Jellison; grandson, George M. Jellison, Jr, and friend, Anna Silver; granddaughter, Aimee Williams and husband, Paul ; a sister, Dorothy D. Jellison; a brother, Clarernce A. Dolliver; four great-grandsons, one great-great grandson, one great-great granddaughter; and many special nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be held 1:30 PM, Saturday, Dec. 29, 2012 at the Manset Union Church, 192 Seawall Road, Southwest Harbor. Interment will be at Mt. Height Cemetery in Southwest Harbor.
In lieu of flowers gifts may be made in Edna’s memory to the Manset Union Church or the charity of one’s choice.
