Obituary for Dorothy L. Boisvert

Dorothy L. Boisvert, 86, passed away August 19, 2013 with her family by her side after a lengthy illness. She was born in Georgiaville, RI, November 30, 1926, a daughter of Frank and Augusts (Wilbur) DeGarden.
Dorothy grew up in Georgiaville and graduated high school from St. Xaviers Academy in Providence, RI in 1944. She married Roland Boisvert, December16, 1945. He passed away August 22, 2006. Dorothy was a homemaker and raised four children. She was an avid reader, loved to go to the movies, enjoyed sewing, playing Solitaire, and spending time with her family. She was a member of the Georgiaville Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary, secretary of the Ostomy Society in Providence, and was a former member of St. Michael’s Catholic Church.
She is survived by her children, Marsha Eaton and husband George of Brooklin, Susan Boisvert of Jacksonville, FL, Bradley Boisvert and wife Debra of Albany, NH; grandchildren, Derek DiChiaro, Bradley Boisvert, Jr, Cherie Cancilliere, and Lea Agnor; great-grandchildren, Emily, Abby, and Alexander; brother, Robert. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Roland; son, Bruce; brothers, Francis, and Richard; sister, Eva.
A graveside service will be at 11:00am, Thursday, August 22, 2013 at the Brooklin Cemetery.
