Obituary for Doris Catherine Pollard

Doris C. Pollard, 84, died April 12, 2015 at a Bangor healthcare facility. She was born October 26, 1930, daughter of Leo and Rose (Juneau) Bird.
She was born in Bristol, CT, and raised in Cambridge, MA. She went to school in Cambridge, and went through nurses training. She met Joe in Framingham General Hospital in 1955 where she worked as a LPN. They were married in 1956. She enjoyed watching the Red Sox. She was an excellent knitter, loved her pets and spending time with family and friends.
Doris is survived by her husband Joe of 58 years; children, Gregory and wife Debra of Beddington, Theresa Pollard of Center Valley, CA, Christopher Pollard and partner Wanda of Sullivan, and Lynn Pollard of Santa Barbara, CA; brother, Ron Bird and wife Nancy. She was predeceased by her son, Francis Joseph Pollard; and brother, Leo Bird.
Interment will be in Leominister, MA at a later date.
