Obituary for David Milton Linscott

TRENTON
David Milton Linscott, 75, died July 19, 2012 at his home in Trenton. He was born in Ellsworth, June 27, 1937 the son of Milton A. and Alice M. (Snowman) Linscott.
David was a hot rod and antique car enthusiast. He enjoyed drag racing and track racing with his two sons, Greg and Jeff. His pride and joy was his 1938 Chevrolet hot rod. He enjoyed Wednesday nights “Cruisin” at Jordan’s Snack Bar and going for coffee and having conversation with his friends. David drove a bus for the Town of Bar Harbor and the YMCA for many years and worked for the Highway Department .
He is survived by his two sons, Gregory Linscott of Northeast Harbor, Jeffrey Linscott and wife Stacie of Seal Harbor; daughter, Susan Linscott of Brewer; grandchildren, Haley Linscott and significant other Asa Jones, Mallory Linscott and significant other Jake Willette, Whitney Linscott, Dylan Linscott and significant other Ashley Urquhart and Harmony, Mickey Phippen, and Benjamin Phippen; two brothers, Ronnie Linscott and wife Patricia of Otis, Roger Linscott and wife Belva of New York; sister, Joyce Barker and husband Gary of Hulls Cove; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Calling hours will be held 1:00-2:00 pm, Wednesday, July 25, 2012 at Jordan-Fernald, 113 Franklin St. Ellsworth where a funeral service will be held at 2:00pm.
Interment will be at Hillside Cemetery, Hulls Cove
