Obituary for Craig N. Hanna

Bar Harbor
Craig N. Hanna, 46, died July 4, 2015 at Boston Medical Center. He was born February 16, 1969 in Malone, New York, the son of Norman D. and Theresa M.(Goodrow) Hanna.
He grew up in Malone and graduated from Franklin Academy. After graduation from The State University of New York at Potsdam, Craig married his high school sweetheart, Lynn Fraser in 1993 marking a nearly 30-year relationship. Craig worked as a computer software engineer at the Jackson Laboratory in Bar Harbor. He loved the outdoors, especially hiking, biking, snowmobiling and hunting and he enjoyed spending time with his family.
Craig is survived by his wife Lynn of Bar Harbor; son, Matthew Hanna; daughter, Mackenzie of Bar Harbor; brother, Doug Hanna and wife Karen of Malone; sisters, Susan Brockway and husband William of Liverpool, NY and Linda Hanna of Syracuse, NY; aunt, Carol Bashant of Naples, Florida; mother and father-in-law, Pat and Bob Fraser of Lucerne, ME; brothers-in-law, Scott Fraser and wife Stephanie Allard of Perry, ME and Michael Fraser and wife Leska Tomash of Portland; six nieces and nephews and numerous cousins. Craig was predeceased by his parents.
A celebration of life for family and friends will be held 10:30AM, Thursday, July 9, 2015 at Jordan-Fernald, 1139 Main St., Mt. Desert, behind the home down by the water.
