The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Clement Silvestro can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Cameron Vaughan-Tyler

Dear Elizabeth, our fathers were blood brothers-- they shared a friendship spanning more than 60 years and your dad was my father's best man. I so very much wish we could have gotten them together in those last couple of years, but it just wasn't possible. So we did the next best thing--they called each other often. I loved to listen to them talk on the phone, each enjoying the wonderful feeling of belly laughs with their oldest, understanding and unconditionally loving pal. Your father was loved by all the Vaughan children and please know that we all called him Uncle Clem. He was visiting on my first birthday and he saw that our mother had her hands full with 4 children ages 1-10, so he decided that he would help out by making me my very first birthday cake! He was of the greatest generation and will be greatly missed by all whose lives he touched. All love to you, Cameron, Meagan, Margot and Stephen Vaughan.
