Obituary for Charlotte F. Allen

Penobscot
Charlotte F. Allen, 89, died February 07, 2014 at the Penobscot Nursing Home. She was born June 3, 1924, to Thomas Choate and Deliska Seeger.
Charlotte grew up in Brooksville and attended Brooksville schools. She met Wyman Allen and they were married in the late 1940’s and moved to Rhode Island. Wyman died in 1965 and Charlotte moved back to Maine in 1986. She really enjoyed helping people and would give you the shirt off her back. She loved going out to eat, loved animals and helping them, and enjoyed spending time with her family. She was an independent old soul.
She is survived by her daughter, Anna Siembab; grandchildren, Dennis Allen Jr. and wife Lisa, Julie Allen and partner Roy Miller; David Siembab, Casey Marino and husband Guy; nine great-grandchildren; and sister, Gloria Curtis of Monroe. She was predeceased by her parents; husband, Wyman; son, Dennis Allen, Sr.; and sisters, Sylvia Schnirring and Laura Astbury.
A gathering of family and friends will be announced at a later date.
