The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Charles Davis can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

I was sad to learn that Chuck died earlier this month. The loss of a special partner is so very sad. Since I have such good memories of working for him at the Small Business Development Center and of his generous and caring nature, I trust that you and your family will in time recapture the happy memories of his very long and productive life.

What a full life Charles led. How fortunate he was to have such a caring wife that made it possible to continue his enjoyment of travel right up to the last vacation in Jamaica. We’ll always remember our dinners at the Olive Garden, and toasting with Charles’ favorite wine, Pinot Grigio.
How we all enjoyed the jazz concert and dinner at the Looking Glass (even Gillis) in Bar Harbor last summer.
