Obituary for Bruce C. Greenlaw

Stonington/Deer Isle
Bruce C. Greenlaw, 71, died August 18, 2015 in Stonington. He was born in Portland, May 5, 1944 the son of Reginald L. and Genice A. (Noyes) Greenlaw.
Bruce graduated from Stonington High School Class of ’62. Following high school he worked for several years in CT. before joining the U.S. Navy. Bruce was a Seabee during the Vietnam War. When he came home to Stonington, he was involved in many ventures. He owned and operated the Highland Avenue Garage in Stonington, operated an earth moving business for several years and most recently was owner and operator of Greenlaw’s Mobile Home Park and RV and Tenting Campground.
He is survived by his partner, Judith Rader; brother, Paul Greenlaw and wife Judith of Deer Isle; stepbrother, Jeffrey Welcome of CT; stepsister, Vicki Pope of AZ; cousins, Pamela Steele, Skip Greenlaw and Susan Pluhar ; nieces, nephews and other cousins and three special caregivers, Daniel Hays, Ted Crouch, and Steve Nevells.
A graveside service will be held 1pm, Tuesday, August 25, 2015 at Mt. Adams Cemetery, King Row, Deer Isle.
