Obituary for Bette Lou Corsey

Bette Lou Corsey, 75, died unexpectedly January 15, 2015 at her residence. Bette was born February 16, 1939 in Gloucester, NJ.
After graduation from Gloucester City High School, Bette married the love of her life, Al Corsey. They moved to the Downeast area 15 years ago. They rented an ocean front home in Winter Harbor where Bette opened her first Quilt and Doll Shop before moving to their home in Gouldsboro. Bette was a very skilled craftsperson and she loved to spend her time making beautiful quilts and handmade dolls in her craft shop that Al built for her on their property. Bette and Al enjoyed 22 years of marriage and had the opportunity to meet many friends in Ellsworth, Al having managed both the Rent A Center and ColorTyme stores for the entire time they have lived in the Downeast area.
Bette is survived by her loving husband and many friends that they have made over the years.
Friends are invited to a remembrance service 12:00-2:00 PM, Wednesday, January 21, 2015 at Jordan-Fernald, 113 Franklin St. Ellsworth.
