Orono/ Ellsworth
Barbara Page Ray, 93, died October 14, 2012 at an Ellsworth healthcare facility. She was born in Orono, February 1, 1919 the daughter of Arthur Given Chadbourne and Josephine Harriet (Lincoln) Page.
Barbara was a secretary for the Town of Orono Water Company for many years. She was an excellent cook and enjoyed weaving.
She is survived by a nephew, Lincoln Page of Albany, NY; niece, Deborah Page Marcus of Cornell, NY; five grandnieces and grandnephews. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Alex Ray.
Friends are invited to call 9-10am, Thurs., Oct. 18, 2012 at Jordan-Fernald, 113 Franklin Street, Ellsworth where a funeral service will follow at 10am. Interment will be at Remick Cemetery, Ellsworth.
Those who desire may make contributions in Barbara’s memory to the charity of one’s choice.
