Obituary for Barbara "June" Lawson

Barbara “June” Lawson, 77, died May 21, 2013 at Maine Coast Memorial Hospital, Ellsworth with her family by her side. She was born in Tremont, January 3, 1936, a daughter of Elmer and Carrie (Butler) Reed.
June grew up in Tremont. She graduated from Nokomis High School in Newport where she was an exceptional student. She was a member of the National Honor Society. June loved reading the classics and helping with the children’s book reports. She loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, camping, gardening, picnics and barbeques. She also enjoyed time with her cats and dogs.
June is survived by her children, Billie Clarke and husband Lonnie, Sr., Ben Lawson, Kerry Lawson, Amby Lawson, Wesley and special daughter-in-law Tina Lawson, Fred Lawson, Crissy Corson and husband Denny; grandchildren, Lonnie Jr., Tracie Burrill, Brandon and Samantha Lawson, Nick, Zach, and Kimberly Lawson, Carrie and D.J. Corson, Kent and Brooke Burrill; and Aunt Gertrude Fowler. She was predeceased by her parents.
Services will be announced at a later date.
