Obituary for Annie L. Wheaton
BAR HARBOR
Annie L. Wheaton, 77, died February 15, 2012 at a Bangor hospital. She was born on Swans Island, April 24, 1934 the daughter of Edward B. and Georgia A. (White) Wheaton.
Annie enjoyed cooking and crocheting. She was a former member of the Mt. View Grange in Town Hill.
She is survived by brothers, John Wheaton and wife Leona of Swans Island, Robert Wheaton and wife Barbara of Florida; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her special companion of 53 years, Harry Parsons in 2007, a sister, Ethel Staples and 2 brothers, Nelson and Burton Wheaton.
A graveside service will be held in the spring at Ledgelawn Cemetery, Bar Harbor.
Contributions in Annie’s memory may be made to the SPCA of Hancock County, 141 Bar Harbor Road, Trenton 04605
