Obituary for Angela D. Robbins

Blue Hill
Angela D. Robbins, age 41, passed away peacefully in the arms of her loving husband at their home in Blue Hill on November 4, 2012. She was diagnosed in March 2012 with stage 4 non small cell lung cancer and had been undergoing treatment at Cancer Care of Maine in Brewer & Blue Hill.
Angela was born January 13, 1971 at James A. Taylor Hospital in Bangor, ME. Angela attended Orland Consolidated School and graduated in 1989 from Bucksport High School. She worked for a time at Duffy’s and Fork In The Road. Since age 14 until 2011, she cooked and helped manage at Crosby’s Drive-In in Bucksport. She loved to cook, bake and care for her family and animals. She was always there when her family & friends needed her.
She leaves behind her husband, whom she loved for 21 years, Ricky L. Robbins of Blue Hill; her son Joseph Kyle Robbins of Orland; her daughter Ashlei Wynter Robbins of Blue Hill; her parents Barton & Pamela Hutchins of Orland; and her sister, Crystal Hatch and her husband Edward and their children Cole, Grace & Camden. She also leaves behind aunts, uncles, cousins, many Robbins family members, a special sister in-law Lisa Reed and her husband Mike and their children Jared & Jesse, many friends and co-workers and special close friends Nanita Hardie and Dawn Curtain. She was predeceased by her grandparents Dorothy & Chester Brookings; and Elwood & Doris Hutchins and by her father-in-law, Roger Robbins.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 11 AM on November 9, 2012 at Jordan-Fernald, 141 South St., Blue Hill.
